A simple and delicious homemade cranberry sauce that enhances any holiday meal with its sweet-tart flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Orange zest
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat until dissolved.
  2. Add fresh cranberries and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens.
  4. Stir in orange zest and cinnamon, mixing well.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool before serving.

Notes

Always choose firm, fresh cranberries for the best flavor. Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar as desired.
