  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 cups peeled, chopped apples
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually mix in the flour mixture alternately with milk until fully combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped apples and optional cinnamon.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool before dusting with powdered sugar if desired.
