  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Toppings (e.g., sea salt, herbs, olives)

Instructions

  1. Combine the sourdough starter, flour, water, and salt in a mixing bowl. Mix until a wet dough forms.
  2. Rest the dough for 30 minutes to allow the gluten to relax.
  3. Add the olive oil gently, folding it into the mixture.
  4. Transfer the dough to a greased baking dish and stretch it gently to fill the pan.
  5. Let it rise covered for 2-4 hours at room temperature.
  6. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  7. Dimple the dough with your fingers after it has risen.
  8. Add olive oil and sprinkle your chosen toppings.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving warm.
