Instructions

  1. Boil the chicken broth in a pot until it reaches a rolling boil.
  2. Prepare cornstarch slurry by mixing cornstarch with a bit of cold water (if desired).
  3. Thicken the broth gently by adding the cornstarch slurry, stirring to ensure even consistency.
  4. Create a gentle swirl in the broth by stirring in a circular motion.
  5. Add the beaten eggs slowly while stirring to create ribbons in the soup.
  6. Stir in sesame oil, green onions, salt, and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy a comforting bowl of soup.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, substitute chicken broth with vegetable broth. Can add fresh ginger or garlic for flavor.
