These Firecracker Chicken Wings are bursting with flavor, featuring a perfect mix of heat and sweetness. Baked to crispy perfection, they are a healthier alternative to traditional fried wings.

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the hot sauce, honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk together until thoroughly blended.
  3. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss until they’re coated in the sauce.
  4. Arrange the wings on a baking sheet lined with foil and drizzle olive oil over them.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and cooked through.
  6. Serve the wings hot, with additional sauce if desired.

Notes

For extra crispy wings, pat them dry before tossing in the sauce. You can also let the wings marinate in the sauce for deeper flavor.
