  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Butter or oil for frying
  • Maple syrup for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  2. Whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  3. Cut the loaf of bread into thick sticks, about an inch wide.
  4. Dip each stick into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off.
  5. Cook the bread sticks in the skillet until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Notes
