Enjoy succulent lobster tails drenched in rich garlic butter, perfect for any special occasion or weeknight indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 lobster tails (68 oz each)
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure a hot cooking environment for succulent lobster.
  2. Using kitchen shears, carefully cut through the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise, stopping before the tail fin. Gently pull the shell apart and lift the meat up and over the shell, keeping it attached at the base. Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter completely. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice, half of the chopped parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper. Reserve half of this garlic butter sauce for dipping.
  4. Generously brush the exposed lobster meat with the garlic butter mixture, making sure to coat every surface. Season lightly with additional salt and pepper.
  5. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and firm to the touch. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C). For extra color, you can broil for the last 2 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  6. Remove from the oven and immediately brush with additional garlic butter if desired. Sprinkle with remaining fresh parsley and serve with the reserved warm garlic butter sauce for dipping and fresh lemon wedges on the side. Enjoy while hot!

Notes

Serve with lemon garlic asparagus and buttery mashed potatoes. Can substitute lobster with shrimp or scallops.
