Delicious and quick grilled shrimp skewers, perfect for summer evenings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

  1. Soak the wooden skewers in water for about 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. Combine the olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice in a bowl to prepare the marinade.
  3. Add the shrimp to the marinade and toss until well coated.
  4. Thread the shrimp onto the skewers, ideally 4-5 shrimp per skewer.
  5. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  6. Grill the skewers for about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  7. Remove the skewers from the grill and serve hot.

Notes

Marinate shrimp for at least 15 minutes for better flavor. Serve with lemon or fresh herbs for extra zest.
