Delicious grilled shrimp skewers marinated in a garlicky and tangy mixture, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers (wooden or metal)

Instructions

  1. Soak the skewers in water for 30 minutes if using wooden skewers.
  2. Combine olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.
  3. Add the shrimp to the marinade and let it sit for 15-30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the marinated shrimp onto the skewers evenly.
  6. Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp are opaque.
  7. Remove from the grill and serve immediately, with optional lemon juice on top.

Notes

Best served fresh off the grill. Can be paired with rice or salad.
