Juicy marinated steak grilled with colorful veggies and served in soft tortillas, perfect for sharing with family and friends.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak or skirt steak
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • Tortillas
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, guacamole, salsa

Instructions

  1. Marinate the steak by combining olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add the flank steak and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Grill the marinated steak for 4-6 minutes on each side, depending on your desired level of doneness.
  4. Rest the steak for at least 5 minutes after grilling.
  5. Grill the sliced bell peppers and onions until tender, about 5 minutes.
  6. Assemble the fajitas by slicing the steak against the grain and serving with grilled veggies in warm tortillas, adding optional toppings.

Notes

Marinate overnight for deeper flavor. Preheat the grill for the best sear and slice against the grain for tenderness.
