  • 3 tbsp Honey
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup Rice
  • 2 cups Vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, broccoli)
  • 2 Scallions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 Lime

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef: In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Stir and cook for a few minutes.
  3. Prepare the rice: Cook rice according to package instructions in a separate pot.
  4. Drizzle honey over the cooked beef and stir to combine.
  5. Serve the honey beef over the rice and top with crisp vegetables like bell peppers and broccoli.
  6. Garnish with fresh scallions, sesame seeds, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime juice before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, season the beef with salt and pepper while cooking. Keep veggies crisp by adding them just before serving.
