Delicious and quick ground beef tacos perfect for weeknight dinners, filled with fresh toppings and bursting with flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Taco shells
  • Lettuce, shredded
  • Tomato, diced
  • Cheese, shredded
  • Sour cream

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until the onion is translucent, around 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper, mixing well for a few more minutes.
  4. Build your tacos by serving the beef mixture in taco shells and topping with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and sour cream.

Notes

Serve with Mexican rice or tortilla chips for a complete meal. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
