Deliciously flaky and buttery biscuits filled with savory ham and rich cheese, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the cold cubed butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheese and diced ham.
  5. Add the milk, stirring until just combined.
  6. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently a few times.
  7. Roll or pat the dough to about 1-inch thickness and cut out biscuits.
  8. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flakiness, use very cold butter. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days, or freeze for longer storage.
