A comforting and cheesy hash brown casserole that brings everyone together with its rich flavors and golden crust.

Ingredients

  • 1 (30 oz) bag frozen hash browns
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the frozen hash browns, shredded cheddar cheese, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, melted butter, and diced onion in a large bowl. Mix well and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  5. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Make it ahead by preparing a day in advance. Feel free to personalize with bacon bits or different cheeses.
