A creamy and cheesy hash brown casserole that brings warmth and comfort to any meal.

  • 2 pounds frozen hash browns
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the frozen hash browns, chopped onion, melted butter, shredded cheddar cheese, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Spread the mixture in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Bake for 45-50 minutes until hot and golden brown.
  5. Let the casserole sit for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding cooked bacon or diced green peppers.
