Delightful sliders made with Hawaiian rolls, juicy beef, and gooey cheese, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef (85/15 recommended)
  • 1/2 cup yellow onion (finely diced)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 12 count Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup dill pickle slices
  • 1/4 cup salted butter (melted)
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef and diced onion in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly mixed.
  4. Slice the slab of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating.
  5. Layer the bottom half with the ground beef mixture, followed by the dill pickle slices and cheddar cheese slices.
  6. Place the top half of the rolls back on top of the cheese layer.
  7. Whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, poppy seeds, and onion powder until smooth.
  8. Brush the mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls.
  9. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted; remove foil for the last 2-3 minutes to toast.
  10. Let rest briefly before serving.

Notes

Customize with different cheeses or condiments. Ensure to drain the beef for texture.
