Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheese (blend of cheddar and Monterey Jack)
  • 4 Green Onions (chopped)
  • 1 lb Cooked and Crumbled Beef (or turkey/plant-based crumbles)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • Hot Sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Sauté the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, seasoning it with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until browned (about 7-10 minutes). Drain excess fat.
  3. Combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and half of the shredded cheese in a large mixing bowl until well blended.
  4. Fold the cooked beef, green onions, and any additional spices or hot sauce into the cheese mixture.
  5. Pour the dip mixture into a baking dish and spread it evenly, topping with the remaining shredded cheese.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Cool for a few minutes before serving warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or veggies.

Notes

For a healthier version, substitute lean turkey or plant-based crumbles. Make ahead and store in the fridge; bake before serving.
