A simple and healthy recipe for making fruit leather at home using your favorite fruits.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of pureed fruit (e.g., strawberries, apples, or peaches)
  • 12 tablespoons of honey or sugar (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 170°F (77°C) or set your dehydrator to the appropriate temperature.
  2. Blend the fruit in a blender until smooth, adding optional sweetener and lemon juice.
  3. Spread the fruit puree evenly onto a lined baking sheet or dehydrator tray.
  4. Bake or dehydrate for 6 to 8 hours until no longer sticky and pliable.
  5. Cool, cut into strips, and store in an airtight container.

Notes

Use ripe fruits for better sweetness and experiment with flavors by mixing fruits or adding spices.
