Delightful granola bars packed with wholesome ingredients, perfect for any time of day.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup nuts (almonds, walnuts, or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (peanut butter, almond butter, etc.)
  • 1/2 cup dried fruit (raisins, cranberries, etc.)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s nice and ready for your granola bars.
  2. Mix together the rolled oats, chopped nuts, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Combine honey and nut butter in a saucepan over low heat until melted and smooth, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well.
  5. Add in the dried fruit gently.
  6. Prepare a baking dish with parchment paper and press the mixture evenly into the pan.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden.
  8. Cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or freeze for up to three months.
