Ingredients

  • 1 chocolate cake mix
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream
  • 1 quart chocolate ice cream
  • 1 container whipped topping
  • Chocolate syrup
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bake the Chocolate Cake: Prepare the chocolate cake according to package instructions and bake in two round cake pans. Allow to cool completely.
  2. Layering the First Cake: Once cooled, layer one cake on a serving plate.
  3. Softening the Vanilla Ice Cream: Soften the vanilla ice cream and spread a generous layer over the first cake layer. Freeze for about 30 minutes to harden.
  4. Adding the Second Cake Layer: Place the second cake layer on top and repeat the process with the chocolate ice cream. Freeze for another 30 minutes.
  5. Frosting with Whipped Topping: Frost the top and sides with whipped topping and drizzle generously with chocolate syrup.
  6. Adding a Touch of Fun: Add sprinkles if desired.
  7. Freeze until ready to serve.
