These cookies blend rich salted caramel and a hint of flaky sea salt for a perfectly sweet and chewy treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce
  • Flaky sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to ensure the cookies don’t stick!
  3. Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, and mix in the vanilla extract.
  5. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Fold in the salted caramel sauce until well distributed throughout the dough.
  8. Scoop rounded balls of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  9. Sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt on top of each ball of dough.
  10. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden and the centers look slightly underbaked.
  11. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
