A refreshing and colorful salad featuring bow tie pasta, fresh vegetables, and zesty Italian dressing, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups bow tie pasta
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup cucumber, diced
  • 1/2 cup red onion, diced
  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Italian dressing
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the bow tie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. Prepare a large mixing bowl with halved cherry tomatoes, diced cucumber, red onion, diced bell peppers, sliced black olives, and chopped basil.
  3. Combine the cooked pasta with the vegetable mix in the bowl.
  4. Dress the salad by pouring Italian dressing over the mixture and tossing gently to combine.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Dress separately to keep vegetables crisp.
