Delightful bite-sized jalapeno popper wonton cups filled with creamy cheese, bacon, and a hint of spice.

Ingredients

  • Wonton wrappers
  • Cream cheese
  • Shredded cheddar cheese
  • Jalapenos (finely chopped)
  • Bacon (cooked and crumbled)
  • Green onions (chopped)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil or cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) to get it nice and hot for our little cups.
  2. Grease a muffin tin with olive oil or cooking spray to prevent the wontons from sticking.
  3. Press the wonton wrappers into the cups of the muffin tin to form a perfect little cup shape that will hold all the delicious filling.
  4. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped jalapenos, crumbled bacon, and chopped green onions. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Spoon the cheesy mixture generously into each wonton cup, filling them to the brim.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the wontons are golden and crispy, and your kitchen smells heavenly.
  7. Remove the muffin tin from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving to avoid burning your mouth on that cheesy goodness!

Notes

Make sure your bacon is crispy for the best texture. Don’t overfill your wonton cups.
