A refreshing and tangy Key Lime Pie with a buttery graham cracker crust, perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup key lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Whipped cream (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Mix in the key lime juice, lime zest, and salt.
  4. Pour the lime mixture into the prepared crust, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes or until set. Remove from the oven and cool to room temperature.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
  7. Serve with a generous dollop of whipped cream on top.

Notes

Use fresh key limes for the best flavor, or substitute with bottled key lime juice. For a sweeter pie, feel free to add additional sugar.
