A comforting and flavorful Korean Beef Bowl that’s quick and easy to prepare, perfect for busy weeknights.

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Cooked rice for serving
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
  2. Drain any excess fat from the skillet to keep the dish from being greasy.
  3. Add soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger to the skillet. Stir well to combine.
  4. Simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fragrant.
  5. Serve the beef mixture over fluffy cooked rice.
  6. Garnish each bowl with sesame oil, sesame seeds, and green onions.
