Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the hot oil and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Cook the shrimp until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Squeeze the juice of one lemon over the shrimp and add the zest, stirring gently.
  5. Season generously with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
