  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Wooden skewers or metal skewers

Instructions

  1. Combine Marinade Ingredients: In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Marinate Chicken Cubes: Add the chicken cubes to the bowl and mix well. Cover the bowl and let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight in the fridge.
  3. Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Thread Chicken onto Skewers: Carefully thread the marinated chicken onto skewers, soaking wooden ones in water beforehand.
  5. Grill the Chicken: Grill the skewers for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Rest and Serve: Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving with pita bread and tzatziki sauce.

Notes

For maximum flavor, marinate the chicken overnight. Adjust the grill temperature to avoid burning.
