A delightful treat that combines classic cookies with the convenience of bars, featuring oats, M&Ms, and chocolate chips.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup M&Ms
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Fold in the rolled oats and all-purpose flour until just combined.
  5. Fold in the M&Ms and chocolate chips.
  6. Spread the dough into the prepared baking dish evenly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week or refrigerate for up to 10 days. For longer storage, freeze individually wrapped bars.
