A delightful layered cake featuring chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry flavors, perfect for celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup strawberry puree
  • 1 cup vanilla frosting
  • Chocolate shavings or sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour three 8-inch round cake pans.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Divide the batter into three bowls: one for chocolate, one mixed with strawberry puree, and one with added vanilla extract.
  7. Pour each batter into the prepared cake pans.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool the cakes in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
  10. Layer the cakes with vanilla frosting between each layer.
  11. Decorate the top with chocolate shavings or sprinkles and serve.
