Delightful and easy-to-make Christmas cookies with a rich, gooey texture, perfect for festive gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of cake mix (any flavor)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Red and green sugar for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the softened cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
  4. Gradually add the cake mix, stirring until the batter is well combined.
  5. Scoop tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Sprinkle festive red and green sugar on top of each cookie.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
