A vibrant and flavorful dish featuring tender salmon fillets glazed with a sweet and tangy orange sauce, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Orange zest for garnish
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Whisk together orange juice, honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to form the glaze.
  2. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil, allowing it to heat up until shimmering.
  3. Season salmon fillets generously with salt and pepper, ensuring each piece is coated for flavor.
  4. Carefully place the salmon skin-side down in the hot skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, letting the skin get crisp while the flesh cooks through.
  5. Flip the salmon over with a spatula and brush the glaze over the top.
  6. Cook for another 4-5 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and the glaze has caramelized, creating a glossy finish.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with orange zest and fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the glaze. Leftover salmon can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
