A delightful cheesecake featuring a crunchy Oreo crust and creamy filling, perfect for family gatherings and celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup crushed Oreos for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press this mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold this whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes until the cheesecake is set but slightly wobbly in the center.
  7. Once baked, cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Before serving, top with crushed Oreos for garnish.

Notes

For a variation, add mint extract or melted chocolate to the filling. Top with fresh fruit for a refreshing twist.
