Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • Chocolate for coating (milk, dark, or white)
  • Sprinkles or crushed Oreos for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos. Start by placing the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse them into fine crumbs.
  2. Mix the Cream Cheese. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the softened cream cheese. Stir until the mixture is well blended.
  3. Roll into balls. Using your hands, take spoonfuls of the mixture and roll them into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Chill the Truffles. Pop the baking sheet into the refrigerator and let the truffles chill for about 30 minutes.
  5. Melt the Chocolate. While the truffles are chilling, melt your choice of chocolate.
  6. Dip Each Ball. Once your truffles are firm, take them out of the fridge and dip each ball into the melted chocolate.
  7. Garnish for Fun. Sprinkle some crushed Oreos or colorful sprinkles on top of the chocolate.
  8. Cool and Serve. Let the truffles cool completely until the chocolate hardens.
