Deliciously crispy oven-baked chicken drumsticks, easy to make with a flavorful seasoning blend.

  • 2 lbs chicken drumsticks (bone-in, skin-on)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper (freshly ground)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Pat the chicken drumsticks completely dry with paper towels.
  4. Whisk together smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  5. Place the drumsticks in a large bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and toss to coat.
  6. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the chicken and toss until evenly coated.
  7. Arrange the seasoned drumsticks in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  9. Flip the drumsticks and continue to bake for another 10-15 minutes.
  10. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
