  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Cut the French bread into cubes and place them in a greased baking dish, ensuring an even distribution.
  2. Whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until smooth and well combined.
  3. Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes, ensuring that all pieces are thoroughly soaked. Give it a gentle stir if necessary.
  4. Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) the next morning.
  6. Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes until the top is golden brown and the center is set.

Notes
