A delightful dessert featuring a crisp meringue shell topped with whipped cream and fresh fruits.

  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Fresh fruits (like strawberries, kiwi, and passion fruit) for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
  2. Whip the egg whites with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gradually add the granulated sugar, beating until glossy and dissolved.
  4. Fold in the white vinegar and cornstarch.
  5. Spread the meringue onto a lined baking sheet into a round shape with a well in the center.
  6. Bake for about 1 hour, then let it cool completely in the oven with the door ajar.
  7. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  8. Spread the whipped cream over the cooled meringue and top with fresh fruits.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Ensure no yolk is present in the egg whites to achieve stiff peaks. Store meringue and toppings separately if not serving immediately.
