A classic summer dessert featuring juicy peaches topped with a golden, fluffy crust—perfect for gatherings and warm evenings.

  • 4 cups sliced peaches
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine sliced peaches with sugar in a large bowl and set aside.
  3. Pour melted butter into another bowl, then add flour, milk, baking powder, salt, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  5. Spoon the peach mixture on top of the batter.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
