Delicious peanut butter cookies topped with melting chocolate kisses, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Chocolate kisses, for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla in a mixing bowl and mix until smooth.
  3. Prepare your dry ingredients by whisking together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  4. Blend the dry ingredients into the peanut butter mixture, stirring just until combined.
  5. Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned.
  7. Add a chocolate kiss to the center of each cookie immediately after baking.
  8. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Store leftover cookies in an airtight container for up to a week, or freeze for up to three months.
