Delicious pepperoni pizza rolls filled with mozzarella cheese and served with marinara sauce, perfect for snacks or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 30 slices pepperoni
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese (cut into sticks or cubes)
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce (plus more for dipping)
  • 3 tablespoons garlic butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Allow your pizza dough to rest at room temperature for 10 minutes.
  3. On a floured surface, roll the pizza dough into a 12×16 inch rectangle approximately 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Spread marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
  5. Layer on the pepperoni slices and distribute the mozzarella pieces on top.
  6. Starting from one end, roll the dough tightly into a log and pinch the seam to seal it well.
  7. Using a sharp knife, slice the log into 12 equal rounds.
  8. Arrange the rounds on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. In a small bowl, beat the egg and brush it over each roll.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 22-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  11. Once out of the oven, sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately with warm marinara sauce.

Notes

Store leftover rolls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, pop them in the oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes.
