Delicious sliders filled with seasoned beef, sautéed vegetables, and melted provolone cheese, perfect for gatherings and cozy family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 8 oz sliced mushrooms
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 12 slider buns
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: horseradish or mayonnaise for serving

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add chopped onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms to the skillet. Cook until the vegetables are softened.
  3. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking.
  5. Assemble the sliders by placing the bottom halves of the slider buns in a baking dish, spooning the beef mixture onto the buns, and topping with provolone cheese slices.
  6. Cover with the top halves of the buns.
  7. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  8. Serve warm with your preferred condiment.

Notes

These sliders can be prepared in advance. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days or frozen for 3 months.
