A vibrant salsa that captures the essence of summer with fresh tomatoes, lime, and spices, perfect as a topping or dip.

Ingredients

  • 3 medium tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Dice the tomatoes into small cubes.
  2. Chop the onion and add it to the bowl.
  3. Prepare the jalapeño, removing seeds if preferring less heat, and finely chop it.
  4. Chop the fresh cilantro and add it to the mixture.
  5. Squeeze the lime juice over the entire mixture.
  6. Season with salt to taste.
  7. Mix gently, then let it sit for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
