A delightful and creamy cheese ball featuring crushed pineapple and crunchy pecans, perfect for gatherings.

  • 1 cup crushed pineapple (drained well)
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup green onions (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup additional pecans for rolling

Instructions

  1. Combine the softened cream cheese, crushed pineapple, shredded cheddar cheese, finely chopped green onions, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce in a mixing bowl.
  2. Blend the ingredients together using an electric mixer or a whisk until smooth.
  3. Fold in the finely chopped pecans until evenly distributed throughout the cheese mixture.
  4. Shape the cheese mixture into a ball using your hands or a rubber spatula.
  5. Wrap the cheese ball tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Roll the chilled cheese ball in the additional chopped pecans until fully coated.
  7. Serve on a platter with assorted crackers or fresh vegetables for dipping.

Notes

Make sure cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing. Drain the pineapple well to avoid a watery cheese ball.
