A classic Quiche Lorraine filled with creamy eggs, rich Gruyère cheese, and savory bacon, perfect for brunch or a cozy family dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup grated Gruyère cheese
  • 4 oz. cooked bacon, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Fit your pie crust into a 9-inch tart pan and prick the bottom with a fork. Pre-bake it for 10 minutes until slightly golden.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, and milk until well combined.
  4. Stir in the grated Gruyère cheese, chopped bacon, and add a pinch of salt and pepper.
  5. Pour the egg mixture into the pre-baked pie crust.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until set in the center and lightly browned on top.
  7. Cool slightly before slicing and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

This quiche can be served hot or at room temperature. Pair with a simple green salad or roasted vegetables.
