  3. Whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg in a medium bowl.
  4. Place the pie crust in a pie dish, ensuring it fits snugly.
  5. Scatter the cooked bacon evenly over the crust, followed by the shredded Gruyère cheese.
  6. Pour the whisked egg mixture over the bacon and cheese layers.
  7. Bake the quiche for 30-35 minutes until set and golden brown.
