A classic Quiche Lorraine filled with creamy egg custard, crispy bacon, and nutty Swiss cheese, perfect for brunch, lunch, or dinner.

  • 1 pie crust
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Whisk together the eggs, cream, milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until well combined.
  3. Place the pie crust in a pie dish.
  4. Evenly sprinkle the cooked bacon, chopped onion, and shredded Swiss cheese over the crust.
  5. Carefully pour the egg mixture over the filling.
  6. Slide your quiche into the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes.
  7. Once baked, allow the quiche to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For a crisper base, blind bake the pie crust for 5-10 minutes before adding the filling. Feel free to customize with your favorite vegetables.
