A delightful and creamy vodka pasta sauce that comes together in just 20 minutes, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup vodka
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish
  • Cooked pasta of your choice

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the vodka and heavy cream, cooking until heated through and the sauce thickens.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve the sauce over cooked pasta and garnish with fresh basil.

Notes

Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick or substitute half of the heavy cream with Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
