A refreshing and delicious raspberry sorbet made with fresh raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Perfect for hot days as a light dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan. Heat gently until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  3. Blend the raspberries until smooth and strain to remove the seeds.
  4. Mix the raspberry puree with lemon juice and the sugar syrup.
  5. Chill the mixture in the fridge for about 60 minutes.
  6. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches sorbet consistency.
  7. Transfer to a container and freeze for at least 120 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use ripe and fresh raspberries for the best flavor. Adjust sugar based on taste preference.
