Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup of creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 package of instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup of crushed Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
  • Chocolate syrup for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Bake the Chocolate Cake: Prepare the chocolate cake according to package instructions and let it cool.
  2. Create the Peanut Butter Mixture: In a bowl, mix the peanut butter and powdered sugar together until smooth.
  3. Whip the Cream: In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Then, fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture gently, keeping it light and airy.
  4. Make the Vanilla Pudding: Prepare the vanilla pudding according to package instructions using the milk.
  5. Assemble the Trifle: In a trifle dish, layer the chocolate cake pieces, peanut butter mixture, vanilla pudding, and crushed Reese’s. Repeat the layers as necessary until all ingredients are used up.
  6. Add the Final Touches: Drizzle chocolate syrup on top and garnish with additional crushed Reese’s. Refrigerate for at least 120 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld beautifully.

Notes

For extra fluffy whipped cream, chill your mixing bowl and beaters before whipping. You can also experiment with different flavors of pudding mix.
