A quick and vibrant salsa made with canned tomatoes, perfect for tacos and nachos.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 12 jalapeños, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients.
  2. Chop the onion until you have about a quarter cup.
  3. Mince 1 to 2 jalapeños depending on your spice preference.
  4. Chop your fresh cilantro.
  5. Combine the canned diced tomatoes, chopped onion, minced jalapeños, and chopped cilantro in a medium bowl.
  6. Add lime juice and sprinkle with salt to taste.
  7. Serve fresh with tortilla chips or tacos.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh lime juice and let the salsa sit in the fridge for 30 minutes before serving.
