A comforting breakfast casserole that combines savory sausage, creamy eggs, and gooey melted cheese with crunchy bread.

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 2 cups bread cubes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Sauté the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
  3. Whisk the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well combined.
  4. Fold in the bread cubes and cooked sausage until coated in the egg mixture.
  5. Mix in the shredded cheese until evenly dispersed.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes until set and slightly golden on top.
  8. Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
